About Ebony
​
Ebony Lewis, born in Chicago, Illinois, and was raised in Atlanta, Georgia, is a multi-talented individual who simultaneously operates her triplet brains of being a Creative Genius, Entrepreneur, and Pilot. The graduate of Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia, and earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Management with International honors and studied abroad in England, France, Italy, and South Africa. Her 20 years of experience in corporate Human Resources and Talent Acquisition roles drove her entrepreneurial spirit. She consults for many startups, small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and federal government agencies within the aviation and aerospace industry with their best hiring and recruiting practices and implements diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.

A Wanderlust at heart, Ebony has traveled, studied, worked, and lived globally in over 28 different countries and counting. Her multilingual skills in English, Spanish, Italian, French, Arabic and Swahili has given her an authentic and uniquely global perspective to relate to people of diverse cultures and share their truth in personal stories of humanity. When traveling halted during the COVID-19 pandemic, she pursued another bold endeavor and self-studied to earn her Student Private Pilot License and is a lifetime learner of aviation. She is among the few African- American women who make up less than 1% of all professional pilots across the United States. As an Activist and Change Agent in the aviation industry, where diversity in the skies is rare, it inspired her to write and pre-produce the short film, "NuanceX Skies." She also produced and directed her first short film documentary, “Dear Self...You’re a Goddess”, and entered it at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

In addition, she shares her passion for aviation by mentoring the next generation and volunteers for Sisters of the Skies, Women in Aviation, Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals, and We WOT. She serves as Board Member & Chief of Staff for We WOT, a non-profit organization that provides STEM education awareness in the Caribbean and African countries, with a focus on the aviation and space industries and inspire, motivate and empower the next generation of aviation professionals and business leaders, especially girls and woman. She uses aviation to promote humanitarian efforts which were recognized by Women in Aviation and Harvard University. The mom of 3, loves to spend quality time with family; daughter Mysty (27), and twins affectionally known together as “E2”, daughter, Eliyah Jewel (11) and son, Elijah Josiah (11).
Ebony's multi-chapter life and career have soared to new heights personally and professionally. She is finally pursuing her first lifelong dream since childhood of becoming a Pilot and storytelling and creative content development through multimedia technology. As she flies, jet sets to her next destination to write and film projects, the sky is NOT the limit when there are footprints on Mars.
